An unexpected partnership in Espacio Natural de Doñana!
A fallow deer (Dama dama) shares the forest with an Iberian magpie (Cyanopica cooki). These intelligent birds are often seen following large mammals, feeding on insects stirred up by their movement and sometimes helping remove parasites, a fascinating example of wildlife interactions captured by our camera traps.
